About Our Church

"For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.  When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory."

Col. 3:3-4

Grace Life Church
is dedicated to proclaiming Jesus Christ and the gospel of God's grace.  Even though this wonderful gospel is clearly found in the Bible, it is difficult to find in most churches today.  God has given us a desire and passion to proclaim it boldly in our community.

We want to help people experience, rejoice, and rest in the grace life!  This is the eternal and abundant life God gives us in His Son, Jesus Christ.  It is a life of freedom and joy that is experienced in Christ alone.

We focus on what God is doing today in the age of grace - forming the church, the Body of Christ.  The Bible makes it clear that God's program for the church today is separate and distinct from His program for Israel found in the Old Testament.  The failure to understand this distinction has plagued the church ever since it began nearly 2000 years ago!  The resulting tragedy is that countless believers through the centuries have put themselves in bondage by trying to live their Christian lives by mixing law and grace.

The Bible makes it clear that this approach will never work.  Law living and other performance-based systems only produce confusion, frustration, and a joyless Christian life.  You've probably experienced this for yourself!

Fortunately, God has a far better way for you to live!  God wants believers today to live under His grace (Rom. 6:14)!

At Grace Life Church we want to help you understand and and appreciate from God's Word what God is doing today.  We want you to grow in your knowlege of Him (2 Peter 1:3).  We want to help you rest in the truth that He lives in and works through believers though His wonderful grace!

God's grace frees people from the bondage and frustration of trying to live their Christian lives the wrong way.  Grace liberates us from the burdensome demands of the Mosaic Law which God gave to Israel and all the other rule systems, traditions, and performance systems that men have devised in order to gain God's forgiveness, please Him, be accepted by Him, receive blessings, and experience spiritual growth.  Living your Christian life that way puts yourself under the tyranny of religion!  God wants you to be free from that "yoke of slavery" because His Son has set you free (Gal. 5:1)!

Resting and rejoicing in the truth that God's wants you to live under grace puts you on the right path to experience a warm and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  It frees you to allow Christ to effectvely live His life in you and through you (Gal. 2:20).  This is fundamental to your spiritual growth as you grow in your knowledge and appreciation of all that God has freely given to you in His Son (Eph. 1:3).

As you rest in Christ living in you and through you, God transforms you to be more and more like His Son.  This is spiritual growth and discipleship accomplished God's way - which is, of course, the best way!  This is God's way to produce in us the good works that have eternal value (1 Cor. 3:11-13; Eph. 2:10).

Reject religion.  It makes a lot of promises it never can and never will keep.  It will only frustrate you and confuse you.  Jesus hated religion.  The Apostle Paul continually fought it throughout his ministry.

God wants our focus to be on Jesus Christ and to grow in our knowledge of Him (Eph. 1:17).  This is the spiritual journey God wants for you.  This is the grace life!  This is the victorious Chritian life!  This is life at its very best!

This is what we proclaim and teach at Grace Life Church.  We would love for you to join us!

"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast.  For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."

Eph. 2:8-10
